Who is Sugar Shapiro?

Sugar Shapiro is a multi platinum (band) selling artist living and working in Portland Oregon, though she travels to Jamaica 2 months out of the year to participate in the Dance Hall Queen Competition and record with local producers Big Mal and Abba Yal – their deep base and dirty trance can be heard throughout many of her Dance Trax- which have previously only been released in the islands.

While in Portland she lives with her cat- Grand Theft Auto – and they both appreciate good weed, good food, all night parties, sex and sun-burns. Sugar’s cousin Sarah Shapiro is a Portland filmmaker who has encouraged Sugar into recording more in the states and making this hot new dance video.

Sugar has been arrested twice for indecent exposure and so has now taken to wearing leggings under bathing suits. She like to kick it with her girl McDazzle and get shitty drunk on white wine spritzers.

Though she goes on record as a lesbian – Sugar has also been know to have a real sweet spot for manly men.
